Text Message Terms & Conditions

What the programme is. Summerall Law sends text messages about appointments you have booked with us: a confirmation when you book, a reminder a few days to a week before, a message the morning of the appointment, and a message if it is rescheduled or cancelled. If you text us, our team may reply by text. We also offer earlier appointment times by text when they open up. Filling open times is part of how we keep our fees reasonable and charge no cancellation fees. Reply NO to any offer and we won’t offer earlier times again. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you join. When you book an appointment we ask whether we may text you at the mobile number you give us, and you choose Yes or No. Neither answer is chosen for you. If you choose No we will not text you, and your appointment is booked exactly the same way.

How often. Message frequency varies and depends on how many appointments you have with us.

Cost. We do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Msg & data rates may apply.

How you leave. Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. You may also ask us to remove your number by calling the office.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, or call us at 415.944.9406.

We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to receive text messages, with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the service providers who deliver the messages for us, and only so that they can deliver them.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that any particular message arrives — so please do not rely on a text as your only reminder of an appointment.

A text message about an appointment is not legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by it. Please do not send confidential details of your matter by text.
